Kirkland Nourishing Network is still here! Thank you for being here with us.<\/strong><\/p>\n You have helped your neighbors, strengthened our youth and inspired our community.\u00a0 Your support matters!<\/p>\n We still need your help.<\/strong> As this school year continues, hundreds of families are challenged more than ever. The child tax credit has expired, the child care stabilization grant ended September 30, rent increase holds and eviction freezes have stopped.<\/p>\n But the average rent in Kirkland has climbed 13% to $2488 a month.\u00a0 And spending more to keep your home, means less money for food.<\/p>\n As we prepare for Spring Break and summer, we are working with the school district to identify more than 700 Kirkland families with school children that need food support.\u00a0 We need to raise over $120,000 to help all the kids in need this year.<\/p>\n Will you help us?<\/strong>\u00a0 And will you please spread the word to 5 friends?
