Kirkland Nourishing Network Privacy Policy

Who we are

Kirkland Nourishing Network is YOU. We’re ordinary people in Kirkland who are doing what we can to address hunger in our community. We’re an unincorporated association led by unpaid volunteers — we have no office and no bank account. Our website address is: https://kirklandnourishingnetwork.org.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We use SignUpGenius.com to facilitate signing up to bring food boxes and to help with moving food boxes; the privacy policy of SignUpGenius.com applies to the information you provide to them. We use the information provided when you sign up to know who has signed up and to keep track of the number of boxes expected to be received at each site. If you volunteer to help move boxes, we might contact you to confirm that you’re coming, but mostly we just depend on you to show up for the shift you signed up for. If you provide us an email address when you sign up, we’ll add you to our list to receive notices of future school food box days to let you know when signups are open.

Who we share your data with

We don’t share your data with anyone else for any purpose.

How long we retain your data

If you provide us an email address, we’ll add you to our email list to receive notices of future school food box days to let you know when signups are open. We’ll keep you on that email list indefinitely unless you tell us to take you off. Otherwise, we delete data about signups after each event, and don’t track participation over time.

What rights you have over your data

You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you by sending us an email at info@kirklandnourishingnetwork.org. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes, but we can’t imagine what those might be.
